"This home remodel incorporates native grasses, succulents, cactus and boulders to create an eclectic but sophisticated Arizona garden. We partnered with the builder to select the rock that veneered key areas of the exterior, which was then incorporated into the stone walls and water feature in the garden. The water element by the front door provides an interesting play of light and sound.
Landscape design is ultimately about solving problems. Trees are used to screen the home from the road nearby, while additional trees provide shading to the glass walls that reduces solar exposure. The patio is comfortable for dining, lounging and enjoying the fireplace. And its height offers dramatic views."
